We thought we would dedicate a page for our team members who get out and about from Berries Farm either competing BS/BD level or local fun shows and pleasure rides.
Berries Farm prides itself on supporting all of our liveries and are proud to share everyone's success stories!
This is certainly going to be an exciting year for Anita and Myhia. Four years ago, Anita bought Myhia as 3 year old and has worked hard to produce a talented mare who joins Anita on her eventing journey.
This weekend saw the first of the 2020 season event at Poplar Park. Myhia was foot perfect in dressage landing a respectable score of 34%. An unfortunate four faults followed in the showjumping but with Myhia's eagerness for cross country the day was far from over.
"Myhia felt awesome and like she completely understands her job. She loved every minute and powered up the hills."
Anita and Myhia ended the day in 5th place which has set the pace and the possibility for Anita's dream to ride at Burghley Grass Roots!!
This partnership only began last summer and are showing great potential.
This is their round at The Norfolk Showjumping Club's BS show in the 1.20. A fantastic double clear for Ruby and Rosa which begins a promising season ahead of them in 2020.
Poppy seems back on form after a few months off due to an injury, At the Norfolk Showjumping Club's BS show held at Easton College this weekend, she won the qualifying national members cup 1.15 in flying style. Poppy won the final a few years ago at the BS championships, an achievement that was a very proud moment for Ruby.
We look forward to seeing 2020 unfold for this duo.
Fearn and Candy jumped their first 1.15 at Easton College since Fearn shattered her ankle at Hickstead nearly three years ago.Despite getting caught in the rain they had a good round, getting them into the jump off and just missed the placings with an unlucky pole.
Sadly, they won’t be competing over the summer with another operation for Fearn due due but we are sure once she is fit, this team's competition story will be awesome.
Fearn says "being back at Richards has helped massively getting me back on track as she’s so settled and in a routine."
Berries Farm wishes Fearn a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back out and about again.
