With much excitement, Berries Farm welcomed Joe Whitaker, international show-jumper and trainer from the great Whitaker family dynasty, to deliver a showjumping clinic for our liveries and friends of Berries Farm. Preparations built up to the event with creative fences, designed and built by Richard -creating an inviting course of jumps, as well as the magnificent spread of food prepared by Sally Pointer and Catherine Guy.
All levels of riders were catered for, enabling everyone to learn from Joe, embrace the advice he gave to prepare for the season ahead!
Sadly the weather was dreary for much of the morning but this did not dampen the spirits which increased immensely as the sun shone for much of the afternoon. It was lovely to see so many spectators that included our liveries and those from outside of the yard.
" Had a fantastic lesson with Joe Whitaker today at Berries Farm, big thank you to Richard Pointer & Ruby Ellis for organising it... now for my homework 🤓🤓 to try & put some of what I learnt in to practise 😁😁"
"Thank you both for organising it! And to also Joe. Had such a good lesson and finished on a high 🤩 will definitely message you Richard to book my place for the next one"

Much appreciation is given to Richard for enabling the opportunity for those who took part and learn from the best, and to Joe for taking the time to create such a fantastic day that has given those attending confidence and motivation. We look forward to seeing you at Berries Farm again.
